Week 4, Sunday
In 1588 Philip II sent the Armada, some 130 ships, north under the Duke of Medina Sidonia, a man who had begged the king to give the job to somebody else because he got seasick and had never commanded at sea. Off Gravelines the English floated eight burning ships into the anchorage at night, the fleet cut its cables in a panic and scattered, and the survivors limped home around Scotland and Ireland while the gales finished the job. Ethan would have taken the command without being asked.
Ethan woke up 67.1% to beat Alex and goes to bed at 0.5%, with 149.78 points and nowhere to run. Nico Collins gave him 30.8, and Garrett Wilson, projected for 18.8, gave him 5.7, drifting through the afternoon like a galleon with its cables already cut. All Ethan has left for Monday night is Alvin Kamara, projected for 9.9, one rowboat against the whole English fleet. Medina Sidonia at least had fireships, the North Sea and a king who would not listen; Ethan had a calm Sunday, a roster he built himself and the commissioner's password. This is the same man who left 51.3 on his bench in week 3 and called it a lesson. Fraud.
Where it stands
Shough and Fhough (Justin) vs The Mayeflower (Carlos)
Carlos started Parker Washington for 2 and still put up 198.06, because Tetairoa McMillan's 45.2 had Justin bent over the rail of The Mayeflower all afternoon. Justin is at 0.1% with Tyler Shough and Drake London still to play Monday, the namesake quarterback arriving like a relief fleet to a harbor already on fire. JUSTIN NAMED HIS WHOLE TEAM AFTER A LOST CAUSE.
Kraft YAC & Cheese (Brandon) vs Navid
DJ Moore gave Navid 2.7, and Navid sits at 0%, finished before Monday night even gets its boots on. Brandon put up 197.42 with Dalton Kincaid's 2.2 leaking in his lineup like a hole in the hull, and he will still take full credit. Navid gets nothing, his specialty.
