Week 5, Sunday
In November 1120 the White Ship left Barfleur after dark carrying William Adelin, the only legitimate son of Henry I and heir to England, with a crew the prince had personally gotten drunk. The oarsmen raced to catch the king's fleet, hit a rock just outside the harbor, and about three hundred people drowned, leaving a butcher from Rouen hanging onto the mast as the lone survivor. Devante sank faster, and he was sober.
Devante left the dock at 71.5% to beat Matthew and sits at 14.2% with 93.78 points, because his top starter was Jalen Hurts with 15, a number those oarsmen could have rowed to blind drunk. Chase Brown gave him 7 on a projection of 17.8, and Matthew, who started RJ Harvey for 0.7, is winning by lying back while Aaron Rodgers drops 28 on Devante. The prince at least had a hold full of wine to blame, and Devante had a clear head and a roster he chose himself. All he has for Monday night is Davante Adams, projected 15.6, his butcher on the mast. Shipwreck.
Where it stands
Shough and Fhough (Justin) vs Navid
Justin named his team after Tyler Shough, Tyler Shough thanked him with 1.84, and that is how Justin pissed away 37.7 from Jahmyr Gibbs and sits at 33.1% with the lead. Navid has 110 points, a 1.6 from Carnell Tate, and a win chance that rose from 64.9% to 66.9% while he did nothing, because Josh Allen and James Cook play Monday and Justin has Blake Corum, projected 7.2. Freeloader.
Love on the Spectrum (Ethan) vs The Mayeflower (Carlos)
The commissioner put up 186.84 and still fell from 69.7% to 37.7%, because Drake Maye spent the afternoon putting 47.46 into Ethan for Carlos. Ethan started Jeremiyah Love for 2.2, and Carlos, who started T.J. Hockenson for the same 2.2, still has Matthew Stafford and Kyren Williams coming Monday. ETHAN HAS NOBODY LEFT.
