Week 6, Thursday night
On 25 October 1854 at Balaklava, Lord Raglan sent down a vague order, Captain Nolan waved toward the wrong guns, and Lord Cardigan led the Light Brigade straight down a valley with Russian cannon on three sides. Anish started Bo Nix. Nix was projected for 16.96 and handed Anish 4.48, while George Holani put up 8 on Anish's bench, the one cavalryman he kept out of the valley. Cardigan could blame a garbled order and a captain pointing the wrong way; Anish wrote the order himself, pointed at Bo Nix and charged.
Banked
Jaxon Smith-Njigba put up 25.4 for Peter, which is exactly what a 1.07 pick is supposed to do, and Peter will spend the weekend acting like he invented the forward pass. This is the man who paid $31 for Case Keenum with nobody else bidding.
Rashid Shaheed put up 11.8 on Matthew's bench and had his way with the man who sat him, while Matthew banked 24.6 and called it a good night. Hoarder.
J.K. Dobbins, projected for 7.55, gave Justin 13.6, and Justin will call it skill when it was a man tripping over a winning lottery ticket on his way to start Ladd McConkey again.
Anish finished 12.48 under his projection with a bench that was actively trying to save him.
Devante pulled the Anish stunt on a smaller budget: Emanuel Wilson started and scored 5.2 while AJ Barner scored 6.1 on the bench. Copycat.
Carlos kept Courtland Sutton on the bench, correctly, and for a man who left 72.3 points there in week 4 that is basically puberty.
Troy Franklin gave Alex 1.2 from the bench, and Alex will read that as a reason to start him Sunday.
Jalen Milroe scored 0 on Brandon's bench, and Brandon still paid $20 for Tanner McKee this week, because one backup quarterback doing nothing was never enough for him.
